This one is actually going to be one of the more important sections in this course because first and foremost in any HDMI anything any automation that you design you need to consider safety and alarms are a huge part of that.

The good news is we only have four alarms to set up.

Some systems have hundreds of alarms and you're really just doing the same thing over and over and over again to build that system.

We're going to get to work with it and we're going to get to repeat it a few times but we're not going to have to spend all day creating alarms.

What I want you to do in this project is implement your alarms set up your displays so that wherever the operator is the operator will find out if there is an alarm one way or the other.

And then we also want to put our basic alarm management in so we want to be able to silence those alarms and actually reset those alarms in the PLCC.

Also let's go ahead and set up a screen dedicated to alarms that will just show you know what alarms are active on the system and the history and things like that.
